Snigdha's practice is rooted in an intuitive process of layering, mark-making, and surface building. As an abstract painter, her work moves between abstracted impressions of nature and intuitive, non-objective compositions.
Her medium includes acrylics, collage, and found or foraged materials, used to build textured surfaces on paper and canvas.
Paint, fragments, and texture are added, removed, and reworked over time, allowing each painting to evolve through a process which is instinctive and fluid.
Drawn to raw textures, imperfect edges, organic gestures, and colors that feel alive yet ordinary, she creates abstract paintings that feel both playful and contemplative.
