About Me
It took me years to find my way to painting, but once I did, it felt less like discovering something new and more like returning to something that had always been there.
Making art is where curiosity meets intuition. It's where I make sense of colour, texture, memory, and the natural world. I don't seek to capture a place or a moment as it is, but the feeling of encountering it through an intuitive process of layering, mark-making, and surface building. The paintings move between abstracted impressions of nature and intuitive, non-objective compositions.
I'm drawn to raw textures, imperfect edges, organic gestures, and colours that feel alive yet ordinary and aim to create work that's both playful and contemplative. My paintings evolve instinctively over time and invite curiosity, presence, and emotional connection rather than offering fixed narratives.
